Position Overview


You will work directly with our clients to capture requirements. Taking a product-oriented approach, you will assist the client by designing a system that adapts to our current product offerings. You will capture workflows and guide the client to operational efficiency in regulatory-related administrative tasks through our product's.
 
After consulting with the client and documenting all requirements, you become our internal “expert” regarding the client’s processes and will create JIRA stories that effectively translate your captured requirements to a format that can be understood by the development team. You will engage in testing and verification to confirm the end product complies with your documentation.
 
Having a thorough understanding of and experience in regulatory environments (specifically professional regulation) is very helpful for success in this role. Understanding licensing processes and procedures is extremely beneficial to this role.


Responsibilities
 
  • Maintain positive, client-centric relationships with all clients.
  • Collaborate with client subject-matter experts to efficiently map requirements that improve client efficiency and meet the regulatory requirements of the organization.
  • Become the “organizational expert” and assist the client through to product delivery in collaboration with the rest of the Thentia team.
  • Create visual representations of our product that represents the client’s workflows using tools like Balsamiq and LucidChart.
  • Assist project managers in determining work that is within scope and out-of-scope and communicates with the clients accordingly.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Translate documented requirements to Confluence and JIRA user stories.
  • Track billable time for out-of-scope project deliverables.
  • Other project management duties as delegated.



Required Skills


Requirements
 
  • Minimum 3 years of business analysis or operational experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of regulatory experience.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (or equivalent) or greater.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Work well with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in client-facing communications.
  • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience with task scheduling and resource allocation.
 

Assets
 
  • Familiarity with the Office 365 suite.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Projects.
  • Experience with the AGILE project management model.
  • Familiarity with JIRA projects, boards and stories.
  • Familiarity with tools like Balsamiq and LucidChart.
